Full-time/Part-Time. Our normal working week is Monday to Thursday 0845 to 1730pm (Hours are negotiable) Office is closed on Fridays.

• End-to-End Accounting: Prepare statutory accounts, annual and quarterly tax returns in compliance with current MTD regulations, corporation tax returns, and VAT for a diverse client base. Staying informed about changes in accounting regulations and best practices, applying updates to internal processes and documentation.
• Advisory: Act as the first point of contact for clients, providing insights on cash flow, tax planning, and business growth.
• Cloud Migration: Lead clients in transitioning to Xero and Sage (making tax digital).
• Mentorship: Support and review the work of our junior technicians.

Desirable:
• Qualified: IATI, ACA, ACCA, or other relevant Accountancy qualification is preferable or qualified by experience.
• Practice Experience: At least 2+ years of experience within a UK or ROI accountancy practice. Comfortable handling everything from sole traders to Ltd companies.
• Local Knowledge: Familiarity with HMRC regulations and Northern Ireland’s business landscape.
• The "Human" Element: Excellent communication skills—you must be comfortable explaining complex tax issues in plain English to our clients.
• Regulations Knowledge: Knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and compliance standards
• Software Used: Proficiency in accounting software, such as Xero, Sage, or similar platforms.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of identifying and resolving financial discrepancies.
